What would you choose if for a 3 days you have to experience one of these?

I was mute for a week once due to severe laryngitis. It was torture, but I could still make relay calls on the Internet for phone, and write with paper and pen.
I am hard of hearing, and frankly it bites. There are too many communication problems...constantly...for me, and I am still in the process of learning American Sign Language. For now, I must text and write too many of my conversations via TTY and other means.
From what I can tell from signing and writing with deaf people, being deaf is really hard, primarily because few hearing people know sign language all that well.
This is a tough one, but I would have to choose mute.

I would hate to have to choose, or be in that situation. But, if given, I would choose mute. I could write down what I wanted to say.

For me it would be mute. I have three kids so I have to be able to see and here them. with being mute I could still use my hands to tell them what i needed from thwm.

For me I’ll rather experience to be mute for a period of three days. Though I can’t talk I still can enjoy seeing and listening to everything around me. If I want to talk to someone I can write him or using gesture, sign language or dactylology.
