well you have a long way before you get your own star. a star denotes your reputation in mylot. its ranked my your fellow mylotters who positevely rate your post if its a quality one. always post quality post and you start rating them too, so that they would rate you too..! its a bilateral relationshp here...just keep posting and enjoy! hte star will come blue when you get more of +ve rates!

Mylot stars can be attained when you reach 100 postings, it is also based on how people will rate you. There's also a reputation you have to maintain, to keep your ratings from going down.
For more valid explanations, I'll post a link on how ratings and reputations are earned here. Please do give some time to read it, as this is the most possible help that you can get straight from the administrators.

This star denotes Mylot users reputation . It
is provided after a member reaches 100 points
on this Mylot site . At present your points
are 4 . Points are shown in brackets after our
user name . In general , the points increase by
one for each valid response that we post for
other members discussions .
The Star number changes depending on the quality
of your posts as perceived by other members .
Pls see more details here at a discussion
