WINDOWS or LINUX which is better for me??

there are too meny people with this problem.if you have ainternet connection with your system,i must prefer linux for you .because it provide a good security to your pc than windows,but windows is most user friendly.you will get more satisfaction when you use windows and it easy to use .

OK, i prefer GNU/Linux as an student of science. It's ideal for programmers. However, you can have the same features in Windows as well. It just seems out of place. Windows is currently better than linux for non-technical users but linux is catching up really fast. My suggestion--try both and decide. you don't have to pay for linux. I like Kubuntu, you can try any one.. For developmental tools...KDevelop, Eclipse, Netbeans and many more... Good Luck

i suggest you windows. coz most of the engineering softwares are available for windows. Windows has no compatibility problem. with linux, hardware compatibility is a problem. they dont get installed easily. moreover, windows is universally used.
