This drives me crazy, they are forever calling to the point of harrassment. I have had my number changed, had it restricted and not published and they still manage to get it. I also have went registered my number on the do not call website, what more can I do? These people are better than private investigators, they track your number down no matter what. I have politely told them I'm not interested , but that doesn't work because it seems that the ones that call me are argumentative..I have hung up on them and they just call right back... my grandmother just tells them like it is and hangs up..she's hysterical, she kinda reminds me of Thelma off of Mama's family. Anyway, I have started just laying the phone down and walking away from it, usually by the time I pick it back up their not there...Yesterday, I actually had 52 calls! That's crazy. I understand they have a job to do and a living to make, but come not at the risk of my sanity. How do you cope with these annoying phone calls? If you were lucky enough to get rid of these calls how?

Hi friend, yes it is really irritating us when we are in busy with some other work, as i know there is a system in phone to control or block those call list you can block them and as my opinion if they are calling more times it seems they are not telemarketing peoples as my opinion they are near and they know you and your number just trace their number and give complaint if they are giving trouble more. here mine also receiving more calls as you said like telemarketing, cell phone companies, banking, home loans, personal loans, and some other automobile showrooms, when am busy assignment i will say politely if they make call again i will shout, i will use vulgar words because i don't want to waste my time. they has to think and they should ask before may i get few minutes like if we said ok then only they should explain their product or their reason for call. if they are not leasing your politeness just give a single compliant. police staff will take action against those companies. best of luck keep smiling always.

I used to be a telemarketer when i was younger. Let me tell you, a telemarketer knows what they are doing. When i was with a company i made almost $80,000 per year. What you need to do is not tell them off, or dont ignore the call because guess what this will cause? More calls. Basically a no is just one more door to get through before a yes. At least that is how they look at it. you do not need to spend money on Privacy Blocker or anything like that, because I firmly believe taht some of these companies have a deal with the phone company to let the calls through for money. Your best bet it just to listen to what they are saying, and ask them to remove your name and number for ALL of their lists. Once you sau this the person must immedialty read you a statement about how long it will take, and stop trying to sell to you. Make sure that you tell them ALL lists because most telemarketing companies have several lists to call from, and you are probably on more than on. In fact the guy calling you to try to get you to change your phone company, is probably the same guy tryomg to get you to refinance your mortgage. I hope this helps.

These calls are so annoying. I used to hate getting them and most of the time I would just hang up. But now I don't have to worry about it because I don't get these calls. All I had to do was register my phone number on the national do not call registry and the telemarketers are not allowed to call you. If they do call you after you have registered then you can file a complaint. Here is the link to the website: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
Like I said, I registered on it about a year ago and I have not received any calls and once you sign up it is good for 5 years.
