Do you believe any superstitions about eye twitching?

I really think this is all crap...superstitions. I dont believe them. I never believe them. I dont even nelieve god - forget about superstitions. They are just to deviate us. Nothing else, logocally its all crap. We are right now living in scientific world...we cant think like this..old fashoined..be logical..

In our parts there is the same superstition.When the left eye twitches,expect a cataclysm heading your way.I haven't given it much thought as I am too concerned with my eye when it twitches to think of it's repercussions lol.In our part they say when the right palm itches,you will get money,but it has never happened to me,lol.I hope the left eye twitching is a superstition and the right eye twitching is real,lol.

i do believe in superstitious stuffs. buti don't solely put my trust on life on it. like i just have it as a caution. it's nice to have something to think of to warn us, right augusta? hmm. i haven't heard anything about eye twitching but just now. thanks for the tip! i will just have to remember, if it's left, something bad.. right, something good. hehe. good good... i can remember. ouch! my right eye is itchy... something good! yehey! hhaah.. happy myLotting augusta! take care...

I've never heard about superstitions about eyes twitching! Wow! They must have a wives tale or superstition about everything, huh? Last time I knew, the only time my eye twitches is when I an either really stressed or I have had waaaaaay too much caffeine. But I love coffee. :) The last time I had any eye twitching was when I drank too many Red Bulls. It took me a while to figure out what was causing it...so it was an eye twitch that lasted two weeks. hehehe Funny now, but not funny when it would not stop. ha ha

When my middle eye twitches it means I'm going to get lucky!! No sorry, twitching eye means you have some dirt in it, nothing more.

I find this discussion very interesting! I hate it when my eye twitches but I never knew that there was a super stition about it. I don't think I would believe in it though. Of course, now that I know about it. I will have to take note next time it happens to see if it's true or not!

Medically speaking, I'm worried about your eye twitching especially if this occurs often. I guess you have to have your eyes checked (could be your nerves!). Hehe. Sorry if I scared you. I just want to respond to this discussion wherein I won't have much of an input. This is because I don't believe in myths or old beliefs. For me, these are fallacies (false beliefs). If it works for you in believing these things, that's fine. As you've said, it's just for safety's sake. There is a common myth I'd like to share (from my own country). It says that if the left palm is itchy, that person will receive or have money; if the right, then the person will lose or spend much money. Haha. Happy myLotting!

I am not superstitious about anything. 13 is my lucky number and I love Friday.

I never heard of this before. My left eye twitches sometimes. Never my right eye. Does that mean that something bad is always going to happen. lol. I really don't believe in superstitions.

Hi, I grew up hearing that, and when I my eyes start twitching I do often think of what I was told, and like you it makes me stay alert and aware

In my place there is a similar superstition but it is contrary: left eye twitches suggest good luck,while right eye twitches suggest disaster. I don't believe. I think it suggests nothing. Maybe it means the eye is tired and it needs some rest.

Not sure I believe in superstitions. It is always about twitching or itching, or ears burning. lol. Well I know the ones about ears and hands, but I hadn't heard about eye twitching. Each day we learn something new.

i have not heard about this until now. it was a nice thing to hear though, but i cant stop thinking how bad i feel about my eyes twitching. i hate it. hehehe

Hi, I thought this kind of superstition was only typical of mediterranean basin, as i never heard about it from other people. Oops, about the question, lol, actually I don't believe in it, however i don't know anyother explanation about eye twitching.
