Is the money worth staying in a loveless relationship?

I was in a pretty unhealthy relationship a couple of years ago and it took me a while to leave because we lived togther, all of our finances were tied together and I thought I was too scared to leave because of that. When he found out I wanted to leave, he drained our joint bank account plus over drew it by $1,000-that is just one example of what he did. I was able to finaly leave with the help of others! I'm looking for anyone else who has been in the same situation or you may know someone who has- All comments welcomed!!
