myLot users what do you think?Was this fate or what?

At Christmas I got a new laptop and went to highspeed because I was feeling
pretty useless.
I needed to find a way even though I'm in bed alot to earn a little money and feel like I'm just a waste of space.
All my life I've worked long extra hours and have done what I can for others...
Then one day I couldn't go one.I was left feeling pretty discouraged.
I joined some email lists to learn what was out there in internet land.
2 months ago a woman I know from another list sent me a referral link to myLot.
I joined because I was typing alot anyway so why not get a buck or two for what I was doing anyway.
One of my first discussions was about wanting to visit Scotland in memory of my Ma's favorite Great Gran.

An incredibly sweet woman answered that discussion telling me she was from Scotland.
It seems so strange that it's only 2 months ago because surely I've know her for all my life....Maybe in a past life...lol..
I was starting to get to know some of the others and was spending alot of time on myLot...enough to dream about it

at this point I gained a myLot Angel..Then a couple of others became closer to me..
Now I have a mylot family.
I've been thinking alot about this and I think that these lovely people were sent to be because I needed them desparately.
Or maybe some of you needed me..
Do you think this was fate or just happened this way?
Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?

Hi Raydene, I do believe that we were all meant to meet for a reason, for everyone really does need a friend that they can lean on and be guided by others and it is such a tremendous love and help that we all need it has been a wonderful feeling having you and my other friends that I have met on mylot I think of them all in different ways but I try to be there for whenever they need me to brighten their day it is lovely to have real true friends, and I guarantee that a lot of your friends needed you as well. xx

Many people believe that whatever happens, whether good or bad is due to fate or any divine power which is beyond their control. Three months ago, I learnt in a non-religious seminar that whatver happens is never an accident. It was meant to be in the first place. This coincides with a religious teaching that all one's present condition is the result of karma, the law of cause and effect where one reaps what one sows. All things happen because of a cause and the effect will take place when the conditions are conducive for the cause to ripen.
Hence, in my opinion, the person we meet in times of need, the person we harm "accidentally" are all happenings because of the karmic law. So in your case, you must have done a lot of good deeds to enjoy the fruits now :)

Ray Sweetie I do not believe it is fate that our Paths crossed it was suppose to be for a reason
I mean I just happen to stumble on that Discussion of yours and I don't even remember how
Something led me to it and now we know why
I will always be with you Sweetie whether I am dressed as an Angel (in Jeans) or not, I will be there with you and that is a promise to you
I really hope that you will make it here one Day and I will travel from Essex to Sterling no problem

But why can't I wear Jeans you can get Angels in Jeans and if you can't well you know I like to be different I think you and I need to seriously talk about this you know and come to an agreement here as you say we are both Stubborn and no we will not let Gissi vote as he has it in for me right now lol

I do believe very much that everything happens for a reason. Though like I say we might not know why its happened at the time, and may never know. But there is a reason behind every little thing in my way of thinking.
I am so glad you have found such a wonderful Mylot family to help you through such a low time. :)

I think the internet community is helped to find one another through the technology. The world becomes smaller and therefore we get to meet more people than otherwise we would. Am glad for you and hope that you find more like minded people to share your life with. I have a few of my own here also.

well since I have gained a fantastic mom out of it and I needed you so much I am sure that it is fate - I thank God every day that my wonderful friend sent me a referral for this site just when I needed it most - and that I have found you and some wonderful friends who have been so supportive and loyal! You are a very special woman ray and if I ever catch you saying that you are useless then I will get very upset with you! I feel very blessed to have you in my life and I am sure it was meant to be! xxx big hugs xxxx

I often think of the person that sent me a link to myLot as if she sent me a life raft in the middle of the sea..I was adrift and myLot friends hulled me in.I also am very thankful for you Sweet girl...You are the absolut best...I'm happy to have you in the family...I'm much richer.....Love ya

I fell like when a friend sent the mylot link she threw me a life raft..I was so adrift in the sea of pain and illness that I hated to wake up in the AM...MyLot friends hulled me in and dried me off.And you Darlin are one of the best parts of myLot...I'm so happy to have you in the family..I'm richer for knowing you...Hugs

My lot is an awesome place isn't it? So many other sites are scams and they put my lot down. But they have always paid us like they said they would. You can earn money here and meet a lot of new people all over the world

I don't know if everything happens for a reason, but I do think that reason comes from everything that happens. I believe God can use everything and can turn everything to the good. I'm very glad you got the new laptop and high speed and came onto myLot. I think the site gained a valuable contributor and I know I like your posts and feel like I have gained a friend. Nice discussion. Thanks.

I definately think things happen for a reason and when that opportunity shows itself, listen to see if it is for you. Don't always take the first opportunity if your gut feeling isn't right, because there is something else there for you. For Raydene, this has made a huge difference in her life. Her on line creativity is flowing and she is really enjoying all her new friends. It is like traveling and meeting new friends, but without the effort. Cudos Mylot and Myloters.
