I have seen many posts praising vista to be un-crackable. Well all that I would say from my experience is that microsoft's activation policies punish the genuine user while those who are out to crack it.. crack it anyways. The bios emulation hack by paradox has been accepted as the best and ultimate method to crack windows vista. Infact the logic behind this method is so sound that it makes your copy almost genuine. What this crack actually does is that it makes vista think that your machine is an oem machine with which windows vista is shipped pre-loaded. For oem machines carrying vista no activation is required. Thus by using this method you can say bye to vista activation hassels forever. Infact you do not even need to reactivate every 180 days.. something that even genuine users may be required to do. This crack simply involves installing some certificates and an oem emulation driver. The crack was released by paradox team sometime back. This is the best crack for x86 or 32 bit version of windows vista.
