I don't like that kind of dream at all. I had some like that but now I forgot because I didn't write them down right away when I woke up. There was one dream I had that was really disturbing I screamed and my husband quickly woke me up. I was in very dark place, like a tower. There was this man sitting on the steps and when I came into the house, he looked at me and went chasing me. He wore dark clothes too. He got me and covered me with something dark that's when I screamed. I can't forget that one and I don't know what it means, but surely I don't want to have that kind of dream again.

I have had dreams of being chased, but I always manage to overcome the person that is chasing my by defending myself with whatever means. For what it means. There are several meanings for dreams about being chased. You first have to take into consideration who, or what is chasing you. What are the feelings that you are having while being chased? Is there a significance to the person that is chasing you, if it is a person? I had a friend that had a recurring dream about a man that kept attacking her. In her meaning it dealt with a person that she had not met and she kept seeing him as a black figure. The reason for this is because she never met him so she had no idea of what he looked like. When I told her to take control of her dream and confront him that the dream would go away. The next time she had the dream she controlled the dream and confronted him and she no longer has this dream. The reason you keep running is because you are not willing to confront the fear, or person in the dream.

I often get dreams where I am being chased in my dreams, by whom or what, I have no idea. All I can remember is the fear that runs through me when I am being chased. It's like a constant anxiety that I may get caught. The really weird thing is that when I am being chased, I often want to run fast but I can't. It's like my brain is telling my legs to go faster, faster, but my legs feel like they are running on cotton or air, as if they are not touching the ground and if they are barely touching the ground to make any distance. It's very very scary when I am not running fast enough. However, I usually never get caught in the end. I think that the cause of these dreams usually stem from within yourself. You are chased because you are pressured or stressed thus you feel this fear of being caught. I think that in a dream, when you're caught you just wake up.

Oh yes! Countless times, I have been chased by those monsters and bad people. I never did get caught. I always wake up in time to escape the dreams. It always happpens to me when I have some problems that need to be resolved quickly. Like when I was in school and working and there were a lot of deadlines to meet. I had these dreams quite frequently. Some say that dreams are a manifestation of suppressed feelings. Do you think so? Thanks and have a great day!

Being chased is actually a pretty common dream to have. Right next to the falling dream that we have all had. I have a book on dreams, and it says that when you have adream that you are being chased that it is about insecurity. You may feel like things are closing in on you. So you just have to think what is is that I feel insecure about. Is someone up for the same promotion as you, or are you afraid of someone showing you up. Things like this are usually symbolized in a dream where you are running. hope that this helps you out. Another thing is once we know what a dream is about we often dont dream of it anymore.
