I enjoy listening to smooth jazz and sometimes to modern classical music. My parents enjoyed most of all classical music since my childhood and maybe I am well accustomed to this music too.

When I was growing up, my parents listened to a lot of classical music but I never took to it too much. I listen to classic rock and some hip-hop the most but I actually enjoy listening to most types of music with the exception of classical and country.

When I was growing up, my father raised me on old-school, socially conscious rap music, which I still listen to today. He still listens to a lot of rap, although there are other groups and artists which are too hard for his tastes. He is a classic R&B guy and he got me into it, too...
These days, my dad doesn't have a problem with the music I play in my car... in fact, sometimes he's still the one putting me on some new music...

It's been years since I've lived under my parents roof but we don't listen to the same music. One love old hard rock and the other country, gag me.
