To Shave or Not to Shave?

Do you shave your legs or not? Have you tried those hair removal lotion? Or laser hair removal?
Me I shave my legs, and tried the hair removal lotion but it's harsh on my skin so I stopped using it. Then about the laser hair removal, I never tried it and I have seen on TV some disasters with this procedure. That is why I'm a little afraid to try it.
How about you?

The hair removal lotions never work for me. They make my legs burn, but the hair is all still there after the lotion is gone. Poor me.
I've also tried waxing, but I just can't do it to myself. I have a pretty high pain tolerance when it comes to things I'm not actively doing to myself, but knowing the pain is coming just makes it impossible for me to actively do it.
As for the laser thing, I've never thought about it because of the cost involved. So I guess I'm stuck with shaving.

I use a sugar removal product. Before I used a hair removal lotion, but my hair grew so fast and razors were no good because all I had to do was blink — you get the idea. I have not tried laser hair removal because it seems a bit expensive and besides the only place I would have to do is on my chin or any lower part of my face. I would not want to try it on my legs although with my skin color and my hair color which has not changed platinum like the hair on my head, it is tempting. I suppose you would have to go to a professional and if you have dark hair like mine, it might take some tries before it stops ---lots of money.

I'm a girl, so I definitely shave my legs. I love the soft, smooth feeling of shaved legs and how it's feminine. I feel gross if I have hairy legs. :)
I wouldn't go to something extreme as laser hair removal. I mean, it does grow back eventually, just not immediately. I would only do this if I had a hair growth problem or something. Shaving is just fine for me.

When they can express an opinion. My husband doesn't agree, though, so we have to work on him when one of the kids wants a hairstyle he doesn't really like.Practically speaking make them keep their hair your way till they reach the age of rebellion. and just before they go out and get it cut trimmed streaked in rebellion, tell them ok you can do it. its face saving to give in before they rebel and do it anyway. timing ofcourse is of paramount importance. My thoughts on hair and other style issues are that it's not a moral, safety, or health issue, so I'm not starting a fight over it. If their school had a dress code forbidding certain styles I would require them to follow it but also support them in trying to change it respectfully if that was their desire. When they're grown, it's not going to matter that they had pink hair at 14.
