If your student was in the hospital....

If you had a student in the hospital out of town how many times would you go and visit him? Would you just go once or would you go several times?
Tomorrow will be the second day this week that I will be headding down to see my little boy. Its a 3 hour trip one way (if your not speeding).
If he's in there for another couple of weeks, I will probably head down one more time. Then I will probably go and visit him weekly or every other week once he gets home until he well again.

I would just make the one visit then send a card in the mail or something.

I think the visits are helping his parents as much as him. He's only 3 years old so its hard for him to sit in the hospital all day with none of his friends around.
