Urine test

This was sent to me while I don't agree w/ drug tests for most jobs or have this requirement b/c I am an IC this letter made sense in the end.
"Like a lot of folks in this state I have a job. I work, they pay me. I
pay my
taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order
to get
that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, with
which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the
distribution of
my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one
have to
pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to
earn it
for them?? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get
back on
their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone
sitting
on their a.ss. Could you imagine how much money the state would save if
people
had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?????

Hey Y'all,
I didn't report anyone-I've been a bit inactive for a while so it's basically just been hit & miss w/ me trying to give my friends props. I can see how anyone of us could make that same error seeing as how emails are forwarded worldwide from friend to friend & naturally we want to share here too.

I agree 100%!!! Those of us who do work hard for our money never see it. And those who sit at home ans collect money sicken me. Yes some have ligit problems and thats fine. Some people on the other hand want easy money.

The welfare system and the public housing systems in this country have never properly managed. Not only has there been a mismanagement of funds, but of human lives. It never, never should have come to this.

I agree with that I work and have to pass certian tests they shoudl also prove that they have been looking for work and not be able to keep you up todate on all the soaps adn talk shows from daytime TV. Single moms with kids at home i think is a no brainer but they should still have to pass a urine test. But if you are single and healthy then no reson you should even be considering a welfare check.

Oh you are so right!!!! I worked with a couple on welfare. They both held full time jobs but couldn't make ends meet. They recieved food stamps and housing assisstance. they were ashamed to take it but with kids it was needed. I have no problem with that. I did have a problem with my neighbor who gets full welfare benefits but does nothing to earn them, just has more kids and more live ins. I work hard and so does my husband her response is if you want to be a sucker don't complain. Talk about fire comming out the eyes!
