Have you seen that the big wigs may have found a new planet that we could live on. I think its pretty interesting but I'm not flying all that way to a new, less populated plant and miss my friends and family. Would you? Can you imagine how long it will take to get there, and back? What would the cost be? Nope I think I'll stay here and let everybody else go. Then it won't be crowded here no more. But really could you imagine how scary it would be, you better talk some friends or relatives into going with you or your going to be there all alone to set up a new life and survival plan. How many bad people would be there too? I don't know this one may be a little to much for me! Would you go?

Ha ha…if I were young I definitely do as I like exploring any new wonder I come across. I think at my age now I’m not affordable to do so in term of the long time spended in the journey. I worry I might have to take a long time and much troubles to start a new life in a strange and different environment. Any how if we take it as an affordable touring visit like world tour I would consider it as a good idea.

I don't know I've never been anywhere in my life that after a couple of weeks (sometimes a couple days) I haven't been more then ready to come home to my nice little oasis.. Tammy

The report said that the planet is capable of supporting life. It never said anything about being earth-like. The chances are that it wouldn't support human life, if only because the rotation and day length are so different. Anyway, it isn't even in our solar system, so nobody's going to be going there any time soon. Humans haven't even gotten past the moon.

The cost would probably be very high at this time. Even then, we don't have the technology to get there. It would, at our present life cycle, take probably several generations to make it there on a one-way trip, meaning that maybe our descendents would be the ones landing there, provided that the ship(s) heading there make it.
I, too, would choose to stay. Even if I wanted to go, I don't think I can last the hundreds, if not thousands, of years it would take to get there.

ya I read that. What would they do put people in a sleep/coma to get them there. I don't like to not be in control of my self so I wouldn't go and then the thought of all those unruly people having a field day is not a nice thought.. Can you imagine the caos it would be in until they could set up government and police, ect. And what about Hospitals and such.. Too much for me.. I love where I'm at.. Tammy

I saw that on TV and I found it to be very interesting, it is 1 and 1/2 time s the size of earth but they dont know if it a rock, like earth, or a large ice ball. I am curious what they eventually find out but even then I would never contemplate leaving earth it may not be perfect but at least (I hope) it wont melt.

True.. I'd rather sit here and watch the news reports on things happening there.. Theres to many varibles that could happen that far away from "home"..Tammy

i would definetly go.elbow room! :)
i'd bring my family and my pets and off i'd go.
i'd hope they had a police force already in place though-it'd probably be "old west" rules for awhile otherwise.

Ya thats what I'm saying, would they have the police/government set up before they even let people go or would it be fend for yourself and hope you make it? To scare for me to even think about. I live here in Texas and its beautiful. Deer and others in the yard daily. It would take devastation here to get me to leave.. Thanks for the comment..Tammy
