Eragon : Movie vs. Book

I have read the book Eragon, and then watched the movie Eragon. There were times I didn't even realize it was the same Eragon! Why oh why did they take out so many vital characters and events? How are they going to do the second movie? Anyone have a comment on this topic, or am I just raging for nothing? I was disappointed a little, though I did still like the movie. The book was just better!

I did not like the movie at all!
but when I read the book it was my second favorite book I ever read (and I've read a lot!) I cannot wait for part 4 to come out!
I don't know what they did to the movie but they just changed it and skipped a whole lot of good parts, and added some unimportant things.

I have read the the book and watched the movie. I liked the book much more than the movie. They had made something completly different from the story in the book. I am curious how will the second movie be...

I only saw the movie but when I was watching it I felt that something was missing, I am intrigue to know that this was a book and I will be looking to purchase it because I would really like to read what they omitted.

Yeah I saw the movie too, agree that something was missing. They say about fiction movies, the book is always waay better than the film. Another example is the Harry potter series. I think im gna read thee book and find out for myself. I think the next book is called Eldest?
