Why do married couples or lovers begin to look like one another?

Have you ever noticed any two people who like each other much that you'll see a lot of mirroring. One smiles, and so thus the other. One nods or raises her eyebrows and so does the other. Faces are like melodies with a natural urge to stay in sync. Have you ever noticed that you and your husband or partner has now a resemblance?

The more time you spend with someone, the more you rub off on each other. At least in the nuances you mentioned.
For me and the missus, I'm not sure if we look alike, but since both of us have similar personalities, we always shared the same emotions.
But for clothing....yike. Thats a product of the environment. LOL. We have the same shoe size, so she normally takes my sneakers, and I'll borrow any sandals (not the girly type though). Shirt size..yep the same. She likes them more baggy so she takes all my t shirts....Shorts...well, when I'm not paying attention, I've been known to wear her jean shorts and then complain that the zipper is broken (different side then the guys).

It is because married coupes are becoming as one.It means that they have lots of commons and they have known each other very well.Even the simplest gesture they know what it means and what does it implies.
