Do you call it a purse or a handbag or a pocketbook?

I live on the west coast and most people here call it a purse. I call it a purse. I have friends from the east coast that call it a pocketbook.

I live in Scotland and we call it a handbag. A purse is what we keep our money in.

I live on the east coast and call it a purse. Although, I may be outnumbered here. I just don't like the sound of pocketbook, it's so weird.

I usually call it a pocketbook. sometimes i will refer to it as a purse but not very often.
