what are the things to do when stuck in traffic..?

i'm very hard headed person, traffic always make me so angry. what i usually do when i'm struck in a very horrible traffic is to pull down my window and observe whats the problem that makes it so traffic. then when i find out whats going on i sometimes had a bad habit of shouting at the persons causing it. like a car accident or overtaking that causes traffic. motorist needs to have a very cool head in the streets but sometimes you can't handle a very difficult traffic especially here in manila, philippines. if you can drive hear other countries said that you can drive in every other country because we have the most undisciplined drivers around. one thing i also do if i'm not in the fighting mood is just listen to the radio and sing with it. hope you like my respond zer0charly. can you handle me as your driver in traffic?

Stuck in traffic, I guess you can always do the techie stuff as much as you have the batteries for it. In case you don't have a fully charged cellphone, limitied prepaid load or don't have a music player with you, here how I eat my time during traffic. And its at public utility buses. I play a Rubick's Cube as much as I want. I'd scramble it and solve it again and again and try different patterns that I could remember. In case you don't have a Rubick's Cube along with you, check out if your bus mate (the person whom you are seated with preferably has one and you might try asking if you can borrow their's. Tickets aren't only there to be proof of purchase on the service that you have acquired on using the bus as a transport vehicle, you can do origami with it. The smaller the paper, the higher the difficulty. If you want to have music along the trip, you can always ask the driver if they have a radio to turn on, request a particular station if you prefer. Making the driver, a somewhat DJ, no harm trying. If you have left-overs from the last time you ate that same day, take it out eat them if you like. Use a spoon on one hand and hold your food on the other in case, you packed a rice lunched and weren't able to finish it. If its food that are simple enough to eat, eat them too. Try sharing if you could with your bus mate.

I have lots of things to keep me busy when struck in traffic, since it takes hours to get the flow to move. I love to read, so I always bring my books with me, inside my bag and read them whenever I feel I want to. I also love to listento music, so I always bring my player with me!;) I can always doze off for a while, it's really a great help to relax and rest..

LOL! yeah, i know that sometimes we really get caught by traffic, especially in the morning and whenever i was in that situation i make it a point that i do things that will make my day not so bad. i usually put my ipod on so that i will not get bored and close my eyes, rest it for a moment so that i can have a power nap. i also prayed while on the road.,ask for a good day ahead! see you around! em]happy[/em] myliezl0903 manila,phils 6/13/08 - 8:56am

i keep on munching something when i am stuck in the trafic.hahaha. once i knw that i'll be stuck on traffic, i buy something sweet , like pretzel , (Hmmm tastes like heaven...) just to keep my mind busy and not to stress myself.

Getting stuck in traffic sucks. This is were I start to appreciate my phone. I usually text, text, text, and text... while listening to my favorite songs. Picture-taking is good too, if i have my buddies with me. Although, having them around makes it less boring, all their jokes and funny antics make up for the time that I am stuck in traffic.

actually, we don't really get stuck in traffic. there's not much traffic here. but we do get to stay long on a jeepney when the driver waits for the entire back seat to be filled. i don't really do much, as most of the time, i am carrying stuff, so i just try to secure them all while waiting for the jeep to get moving. :-)

Hi there, what's been up to lately my dear? Well, here in Metro Manila, it would be a miracle if there's a day here without any traffic in any part of Manila. I am always dealing with traffic and i think i am used to it. Yikes! That's why i always bring my Ipod so whenever i am stuck with traffic, there's something that i can get myself out or boredom. wow! that's fun while stuck in traffic. this definitely will not let you feel the delay or passing time so much or get bored sitting and looking at the empty space.

Hi, Whenever I get in traffic jam I would just put my favorite songs in my car stereos and just hear to it and make my self comfortable. In case if I had to reach some urgent I would get out bit earlier.

Send SMS to grumble about the traffic...listen to music...daydream...think about stupid things, watch people, etc. I really hate getting stuck in traffic.

Hi zer0charly. You started an interesting discussion. Traffic jam? It happens everyday here in Jakarta. It's like a lifestyle. Hahahaha... ") We even have a slang words : "Traffic Jam? Just enjoy..." Just do some EXERCISE and stretching. It really helps a lot during the traffic jam. :) SMS? I deleted some of the old items in my inbox to preserve the memory. :) Sometimes I try to call my old friends, long lost contact one. It keeps me from being bored alone stuck in the traffic. :)

yeah i do the picture thing alot because I have been travelling more than usually and have recently brought a new digital camera. I more often check and fix my hair and make up, change the radio station or music, check out the mirrors or surrounding out. traffic jams aren't that bad here usually.

hi mam! i just try to take a quick nap, or thinking of things that i should do for the whole day.. But somehow i find traffic really stressful, it's just like your'e playing a waiting game...

There is one spot where I always get stuck in traffic. I pull out of my job and then the light takes forever and someone rushes the yellow, so they are stuck crossways in my lane and I can't get out, people are honking their horns and I have to wait for that person to get green again and hope another fool doesn't do the same. So I buy ice cream. I just sit there and eat it. Turn my radio up loud and ignore them all. Hope no cop shows up because we're supposed to have our radios low, but I can't drive through the fool so what else is there to do?
