To soothe chapped and sore hands, you have to apply cream or any skin lotion and ointments. Please avoid water if necessary.

sounds like you have dry and sensitive skin. Do not use to many soap, and in the evening, before you go to bed, use creme/lotion which contains emolient or milk extract then use glove or sock to cover your hands, keep wearing them till the morning and rinse with water. Good luck!

if its something like exczema then you could try e45 cream and a home remedy for chapped hands is - 2 teaspoons of olive oil mixed in a bowl of warm water enough to put both hands in and if you get some almond oil add 1 teaspoon of almond oil. then get a towel and put on your lap and soak your hands for about 5-10 minutes 2 or 3 times a week. try 5 minutes at first and then move on to 7 minutes. you should avoid some jewellry if youre allergic and some foods you can also take a multivitamin and some mixed b vitamins vitamins a c e and f are good for the skin you can see what foods have a lot of these vits in them and plan your diet around this

Look up a company online called Aveda and order the product called "Hand Therapy". My hands were terribly dry and itchy before I started using this and they look great now. It's a bit expensive. I think I paid eighteen dollars for the large tube. You should try it. You could also try Lubriderm shea and cocoa butter, if I can't afford Aveda, I use that.
