I love music, and rock and heavy metal are what I love listening too. Though for others it is just noise, I can simply say that it has notes, tunes and melodies in it, for it to be considered as music. Compared to RAP, where I can't see any musical notes in it, Heavy Metal is far more different and can be considered as music. Go rockers!;)

rap has more ryhtmic background then heavy metal. and rythm is also important part of music, i even believe it's more important then harmonic scales itself. because if you change one note in a harmony you play, even a careful listener will hardly notice, but if you rythmically change one piece of leading harmony.. man, that's a HUGE change in the song. you guys, heavy metal freaks think music is only shredding, ah... u'll grow up some day... ;PPP XDDDD

To domen: Is it only rhythm that makes a music? I'm guessing you're a rapper, or maybe a music major? Growing up means you should know what you say, and with concrete bases.. Geez! newbies!

LOL man, I'm not a rapper:D. I listen to all kinds of music, I also played in a several bands (metal bands, mostly) for a long time. Don't judge me just because I claimed that rythm is more important then shreding dozens of harmonic scales. I supported my opinion with certain arguments, while you just say "probably you're a rapper and you dont understand". Man, that's not the way quality discussion evolves.

No I don't, simple as that XD. When I was younger i had long hair and listened to this crap alot (or even more br00tal, if u know what i mean :DD) but now I don't find it as amusing. I like more music that is more groovy, that has better rythms, music that makes you fly away. Like U2. : And Oasis :. And Mogwai. : And lots and lots of other! ;D

not a fan of it, i listen to some metal but pretty rarely i do so, i do enjoy many types of music though
