I'm not quite sure. They have been able to get lots of shots, but is the scoring and goalkeeping good enough? What do you think?

Well I do have to say the Red Wings, After watching game #6, have what it takes to win the stanley cup this year. When they were short handed they looked as if they were playing a power play, stealing the puck and scoring. Besides Hasek had a shut out 22nd career shut out. I do think they are looking good!!

It is unfortunate that the Red Wings just don't have the offense to win the Stanley Cup this year. They might be ready to win it next year if they keep Todd Bertuzzi and get him better adjusted to how the Wings play. Hopefully Dominik Hasek will come back for another season.

If you ever watched the Stanley Cup Playoffs before, you know that any of the 16 teams that start out ALL obviously have what it takes to go all the way. Once they get there, nothing from the previous 82 regular season games means a thing. It's a new season, a fresh start.
In that line of thinking, then of course the Wings have what it takes.
If you're referring to previous early exits, I can see where you could have doubt as to whether they can make it all the way. As a reminder, they've won 3 cups in the last 10 years, and have been regular contenders for the playoffs. The one aspect that was always questioned was their grit and ability to step it up for the games that really mattered.
Did you watch the Calgary series? The team that was apparently going to batter the Wings? Oh yeah, that's right. The Wings actually dealt more hits and checking out than the Flames did. The only reason the series went as far as it did was because of the Calgary fans and their undeniable influence on the refs.
The Sharks beat Nashville. Nashville didn't play all that well in the first round, so it's not a shock that they went home early.
When all is said and done, I wouldn't be too shocked to see any of the remaining teams make it to the conference finals, or to the cup finals. They're all really good teams, and each of them has a great chance of going all the way.
