i just moved out from baguio last january. in terms of dormitories or boarding house, there are a lot to choose from.
you can try looking along engineer's hill, cabinet hill, green water... these are the places near SM. you can just walk going to SM.
next option will be for you to check along Bonifacio St., T. Alonzo, New Lucban, Aurora Hill, Trancoville, Brookside. these areas are 1 ride from SM. 24 hour line of jeepney. it will take you from 10-15 minute ride, depending on the time of day. during rush hours, it make take you from 15-30 minutes.
if you'll be needing further help, you can send me a private message. i'll try helping you out.

When we were in Baguio, we stayed at Ina Mansion. Some condo units are for rent there and it is near SM Baguio, burnham park and library. One unit has three bedrooms, kitchen, sala and bathroom. Hope i've helped. =)
