I was searching for some warm and cute comments to add on some of my friends' profile. To thank them for the support, kindness, friendship...etc. When I came accros this lovely "Friendship Alphabet". I wanted to share it. It's so warm and friendly. But it's also funny and true. I hope you'll like it. And my favorite is letter "W", until now I'm still laughing about it. "The ABC's of Friendship"
A lways be honest, would you want THEM to lie to you?
B e there when they need you, or you may wind up alone
C heer them on, we all need encouragement now and then
D on't look for their faults, even if you have none.
E ncourage their dreams, what would we be without them?
F orgive them, you just MAY do something wrong sometime.
G et together often, misery loves company, so does glee.
H ave faith in them, the human animal is remarkable.
I nclude them, you may need to be included sometime.
J ust be there when they need you.
K now when they need a hug, and couldn't you use one?
L ove them unconditionally, that is the ONLY condition.
M ake them feel special, because aren't we ALL special?
N ever forget them, who wants to feel forgotten?
O ffer to help, and know when "No thanks" is just politeness.
P raise them honestly and openly.
Q uietly disagree, noisy NO's make enemies.
R eally listen, a friendly ear is a soothing balm.
S ay you're sorry, don't let them assume it.
T alk frequently, communication is important.
U se good judgment.
V erbalize your feelings!
W ish them luck, hopefully good!
X amine your motives before you "help" out
Y our words count, use them wisely.
Z ip your lips when told a secret.

'D' is somewhat intriguing. I'd like to meet the person who has no faults. 'Q' & 'R' are very sage, yet I suspect 'S' may be the wisest of all.
Good rules to live by, for sure!

Mimpi, you're such a sweet friend really. It took me a while to assemble the letters, especially that I first read it from my email. (^^,LOL) And I almost fell off my sit from your thoughfulness. I love the paradox-Love them unconditionally, that is the ONLY condition and Your words count, use them wisely.If we study just one subject in life ,then it has to be friendship! They prepare students for highflying careers in school.If they could add one more subject to the neverending list ,then every good student of this subject would shine.If love is the greatest feeling ,then friendship is the greatest virtue.

that one is good, i'll pass it on to all of my friends, its nice to rekindle friendship once more since most of us are busy. miss all my friends now, kinda feelin a bit homesick lol. thanx aphroditei

As of now, I have alot of responsibilities to do as a friend especially zipping my mouth when told a secret. Most of the time I just forget about it so that I won't be able to tell it to anyone. hi goddess of love,i found these alphabets to be really true.i think these are the suuggetions for all people with their respective alphabets;to make their relations better. every person lacks something in their personality and these suggetions must fulfil he requirements.

You are indeed thoughtful to share. I like the letter A. Always be honest. "Never do unto others what you don't want others to do to you". This has been one of my principle in life. I never like people to lie to me, so I advocate honesty.
Honesty is always the best policy as my conscience is clear. You never know how long you need to keep on lying for a lie made, and when the truth will be out. It would be very stressful to hold no to a lie.

Thanks for sharing this! Sometimes I think people don't really realize how important friends are, and how important it is to treat them well (think of the Golden Rule - treat others as you would wish them to treat you)
