Do you love to watch movies at home or in the theater?

I love to go out and see a movie more because i want to experienced watching a movie in the big screen where i can really feel that i am as if there in the situation where the actors and actresses are doing but that depends if i have enough money. The good thing about watching movie at home if you have DVD's and CD's you got to save more because you can watch it all over and over again unlike in the big screen but if you don't have and you are just watching a movie where the television network provided you cannot really feel the movie because there are lots of commercial breaks.

I prefer to watch movies at home. I'm too poor to afford to go to the theatre. :P But if there's a movie that I really want to see, I'll go see it at the show.

We are selective in movies to watch on screen and/ or to see at home theatre or on tv screen! SOME MOVIE WE PREFER TO GO TO CINEMA HALL TO WATCH SO WE GO THERE AND WATCH! OTHERS WE JUST RENT THE CD/DVD AND SEE AT HOME ON HOLIDAY EVENINGS.

there are certain movies i prefer to watch in the theater specially if it's a sci-fi adventure type. coz i would be seeing all the visual effects in the movie. but i only go out to the ovies when i have company. if i'm alone i would pefer to watch at home. sometimes, i appreciate watching movies at home. you could laugh all you want, cry all you want, eat all you want etc. and i can watch a movie at home even when i'm all alone. i don't have to worry about my fluffy eyes and nose coz of too much crying in drama movies, i wouldn't have to care if i find someting funny in a scene that others wouldn't find funny at all, i skip all the most violent scenes if i can't bear with it... coz you are at home, you can do stuff you sometimes can't when in the movie theater. :)

I will prefer going out and see a movie than just staying at home because its aircondition in the mall than in our home. And there's no disturbance if i will just go to the mall and watch television.

I like the big screen, but in the end, I prefer the comfort of my own home to watch a good movie. The last time I went to the theatre, my wife and I took our 4yr old son to see 'over the hedge', and it was that loud, it was uncomfortable. At least at home you put the volume to suit, have a toilet break, if needed, and don't have to worry about the guy sitting behind you coughing and sneezing everywhere!

Well that's a tricky one. The overall experience I prefer to see it at the cinema. There is something quite enjoyable about the night out. The picture is obviously bigger and the sound quality is better. There is something very enjoyable about lots of people watching the same film at the same time. Having said that though, in an ideal world there would not be someone who is talking the whole way through it, and putting their head up too high. Watching a movie at home has it's own advantages. You can pause the movie if you need to get some drinks. You can rewind it if you missed something important. Most of the time though it is just the convenience. I think more movies are watched at home for a good reason. Perhaps it would be the best solution to have a home theatre and invite lots of friends round! First of all we would maybe need to earn more money. Perhaps some myLotters already have bought their own home theatre system ;)
