It's very dificult to see when your baby is crying. It kinda breaks my heart knowing that she wants something and I don't know what to do. It's easier to deal with toddlers because they can talk and tel you waht they want. But with infants, they just cry until you satisfy their needs. So what do you usually do when your baby cries?

For me, most the time i was able to tell the difference between a hunger cry or a cry to get changed. but if i couldn't tell i just started with the basics. i'd check the diaper, if that didn't need changed then i'd try to feed them. if they didn't want to eat then i'd try to rock them.

Yeah this is pretty much what I do too... But sometimes the basics are not enough. Sometimes the baby wants to be carried or held in a specific way and its difficult to know which way. I don't know what magic my wie has but she seem to be able to hush the baby when eveerything I've tried has failed. Mother's touch I guess...

ussually when a baby cries, its like a leaving a message to you, you should check first his/her diaper if its already full and change it. if not her diaper probably she's starving so you need to give her milk. or the baby will cry when something on her body isnt right, like she's sick or so.
