Chinese herbal medicines

Does anybody buy and/or use Chinese herbal medicines here? What medicines are those and how long have you used them? I think I've only bought a handful --- for tooth ache, to cure throat problems (Pei Pa Koa) and this medicine that supposedly takes away facial blemishes. What about you?

chinese medicines for toothache maybe fine. but, for all those others which we have to eat, no, don't take them. it will be better for you to take those philippine products like mx3 and sodium ascorbate. although sodium ascorbate is an imported product from switzerland it is very effective and very cheap if compared to other food supplement products.

I do not use them myself, but I have a friend who this is the only medicine she uses. She does not go to a regular md doctor ever. she doesn't believe in them.
