Autism and Drugs

Are you in favor of giving drugs to children with Autism?
I have been a Sped Teacher for a few years now and I am a strong advocate of the no drugs for my students.So far most of my students have done well without taking any medicines.I only recommend O.T and S.T. for all my students and it works.

I would try anything that could help my son lead a more "normal" life and help him in any way it can. To me teacher is to teach him and help him with education and all that, doctors are the once I go for medical advice. The teachers should respect the choices that the perents make.
