I do not smoke but my husband does. I told him to stop that and all he said to me is that i ask him for anything else to stop but not for him to smoke. I dont know if it is an addiction or just a habit, is that the same thing? I know it is dangerous to his health and im worried because he's still young and my daughter is just 2 years old. I dont want anything bad to happen to him.

Its a habit when you initially start with and will become an addiction as time progresses. whenever you dont smoke for long time you will get irritated and hence your body and mind go for it.Here the addiction is to nicotine and rest is habit. If you seriously want him to quit his smoking, he should dismantle the habit of smoking may be by using gums or if he is an eater he can go for munches.

yes businessman will be affected most by this habit as they need for refreshment every now and then after finishing their meeting with their clients. So its a tough ask to find a substitute as it should be the common substitute for all.Your partner can stop you from smoking form somewhile and can control your habit but that could be temporary.
