I have a friend who stopped going to school because she could no longer afford it. So she started working in hopes that she can save up enough to be able to go back to school. But it's been quite some time and it seems she's not earning enough to go back to studying. Any thoughts on this?

Working while studying is a possible thing. Even me was doing this, I am working at night time and studying by day. What can I advice is to tell your friend not to wait until the time he/she can save enough money. Saving money is a hard thing to do especially if you don't have a job that offers a big salary. When I stop my studies before, I waited 6 years for me to become stable and can finance my studies, but within those years I really don't have any single amount saved up. So, I just decided to go back studying so I could really set aside a money as a budget for my studies. Now I am having this kind of set-up for almost two years. So far, things are doing okay.

If you are talking about college, there is financial aid available for those who cannot afford to pay tuition. Also, there are public colleges that are far more affordable than private schools. She can also try doing courses online at home so she can work and go to school at the same time. She doesn't have to be a full-time student, she can take as many courses as she can each semester until she completes her degree. Where there's a will, there's a way.
