Hello nglanfield, how are you doing? Well, yes there are still VHS players sold in stores, but the bad thing is that usually stores don't sell players taht can play Pal and NSTC format, so you can look on eBay for a VHS that can. You can look for one that is "World wide Video". It is nice to do that. Their website is http://www.ebay.com and if you haven't signed up for an account go ahead now. If the seller doesn't specify if it plays Pal and NSTC then you can ask him/her about that.

I've had a look on ebay and theres loads od viedo/dvd combos, but no NTSC/PAl players. so I've left it for ebay to notify me when made get added.
Thanks for the advice I've looked in some stores online but found no player that does both so far.

Thanks for best response.
You can search online for Samsung SV-5000W Worldwide It's the one that I have. I saw they were selling some on eBay for 300 USD. I thought that was too much because I bought mine for far less, so I am sure there are some stores through the internet where you can get it cheaper.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep an eye out for that model, although as you say the price is abit high, but maybe I can find it somewhere else.
