What do you like or dislike about Tom Hanks?

What do you like or dislike about Tom Hanks? It is obvious that he does unique and difficult roles, like in Forest Gump, Cast away, saving private rayon ... It seems that he is fond of representing minority in community, Not quite an average person. Do you think his past has anything to do with his selection of roles? or he just enjoys being so?

It's hard to think what specifically I like about Tom Hanks. I have just always loved him as a actor. He seems like a charming, fun guy and I am just drawn to him on the screen. I loved him in You've Got Mail, such a funny lovable character!

Thanks for sharing LilyoftheThorns! yeah he is cool:-) and though i haven't seen but that's would be another great movie of him. What I appreciate about him is the fact that he handles the difficulty of character adequately well.

Yeah. He has def. played a range of characters. He is great and dramas and comedies! Hmm, has he made a horror movie yet? I dont know, but if he has I'd love to see it! :)

I love tom hanks he is so cute. He does really well in his characters. i remember seeing him in that first comedy he did called "bosom buddies' That was so cool. He and meg ryan do well together :)

good to know that there are more fans of Tom hanks here than i orignally thought based on no. of replies. I started to think as if no body likes him. To me the justice he does with the role is impressive. You are right he about him and meg ryan:-) Thanks for dropping by mssnow, much appreciated:-)
