Right now, I believe that the answer is "nothing" but I'd like to be wrong. The concept of Hell isn't quite as terrifying and the concept of ceasing to exist. And if the standards are so strict that I'd end up damned then at least I'd have plenty of good company.

If you take care what is going on right you can get the best of what happens later. Whatever may happen. As for what do I believe I'm actually not so clear on that point. I'm Buddhist by faith but when I look at the details of the after life in Buddhism and all the other faiths they tend to point one in the direction of the hear and now. Meaning what you do now rules what your destiny will be. Hence I actually don't spend a lot of thinking of the different possibilities.

For anyone who is interested or who has belief in astrology, psychics, mediums, etc, -there is a town in New York state called 'Lily Dale'...It is a residence of 'spiritualists' who give readings, etc, to outsiders on a seasonal basis...One can either stop by and visit the community, or reserve a reading in advance...For more information regarding:

i believe we are reincarnated in order to resolve issues left over in this life. For example if i do not learn things in this life i will come back in the next life to complete my learning

I fully agree ESKARENA1
I believe we continue to experience life in every bit. So, either we choose to live a life of crime the next time around, or want to experience a life of hardship.

TY 4 your responses!
I am curious, though, regarding your beliefs, as to how you know that this time around isn't your 2nd, or do you believe your reincarnations are endless until you acheive what was meant to be~?
And if so, what do you believe happens after that life of completed learning..?

My belief is that when we die, we only die in flesh. I belive that our spirits leave our body, and if we are saved, we go to heaven. If not, then the other direction for eternity.

I like to think that when we die we return home, almost like a soldier on a mission, some do good others do bad, that the war of heaven and hell is waged daily by us and when we die we get released like a soldier would get his/her release papers...does this make sense?
Just you hear about the battles of heaven and hell and but have they ever stopped, I think they didn't that we are now the ones fighting it with the angels and demons.

We go to God. Hell is here. I find it difficult to believe that God who loves us would condemn us. Jesus' words have been twisted around through many religions.
I believe that we reincarnate, but we make that choice.

I agree with you about Hell...I believe an All-Loving God wouldn't punish in such a twisted, demented way forever to eternity...If it was an eye for an eye in Biblical times, then why would it be fire and brimestone that NEVER ended
-for any sin?...And for many who believe it is solely the 'Devil's' realm in Hell, then why would God allow such a thing~
Not sure what I believe about reincarnation...But I do think I remember science class teaching energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changes form...So what's to be said of that~? ..TY 4 your response!

If we are saved, we go to heaven in our spirital bodies. If we are not saved, we stay with the devil forever in a pit of fire.

Nothing we die if the spirt is strong enough it can move on still and become a ghost but for most of us we just die

When i was little, my mum explained to me what happens when we die. She isnt a religious person, this is just what she believed to happen. We are all spirits, and we stay with a group of spirits for millions of years, and we all come back together.. Like in my next life, my boyfriend could be my father, or my brother, or things like that.. We all come back together.. And we learn certain lessons, thats why we are here.. Then, once you (the spirit) has learnt all the lessons you need to learn, with this particular group of spirits, you will move on to another group, and start all over to learn more lessons from them.. Thats what she had explained, and I like to believe that, i just cant imagine that when we die there is nothing after it..
