potty training

for all of you who have potty trained a boy, do you have them start off by sitting down or standing up? I know this might sound like such a weird question but I have heard conflicting stories of what you should do.

i started mine sitting down when he goes that is its to hard for them to aim right now they ll learn

sitting down until he is tall enough to aim it in the tolit while standing.

I started my little guy sitting down. When they are that small it is hard to aim and also hard to reach a regular toilet. I wouldn't use the guard that comes with some training pottys, I have heard of little boys scraping and injuring themselves on those. Eventually my son wanted to go like Daddy does and he began to stand up, which is when the real mess starts! Good luck!

You should teach him sitting down pointing his thing down while he pees. It's too hard for them to aim for the toilet standing up when they're that young.
