Who is your favorite and best female Singer?

Myself Alanis Morisette is the best femail singer, I really like her songs.
Her international debut Album jagged Little Pill (1995) beome one of the most successful album of all time.

Alanis is also one of my favorite singers. I like her singing style. Avril Lavigne sounds like her, that is why I like Avril too. There's also Toni Braxton, I have her Secrets album which includes Un-break My Heart, How Could an Angel Break My Heart (wow, lots of breaking hearts) LOL.

i like many females singer but if i have to pick one, it would be fiona apple. she is a great singer and her voice is amazing and her lyrics are very depressing.

Tori Amos is the best female singer in my opinion. She writes, produces, plays, and sings her own music. She is wonderful with words. Her new CD comes out in May!
