do you like writing?

I like writing too. But I love reading more than writing. Like you I also have a dream to become a writer one day. I don't know when the day will come or it will come or not. But I will keep dreaming lol. With me a little problem is I can't write whenever I get time. For writing something creative I need a good mood for that and really feel that what I am going to write. I know to be a writer we need lots of writing practice. If I always wait for my mood and feeling I would not be able to write much and my deram will go away from me. But I can't help it. By the way I like the saying of born with a pen in one hand and a book in the other:). Wish you good luck with your writing!

I like writing.I don't know if I'm good or know because I use to wrote something like diary.I just wrote things I had at my mind,feelings.....I say wrote and not write because I stop do it few years ago.I had a very bad experience.The diary that I had then find a person and readied it.I suppose must be more carefully but because i respect other peoples personal life I thought the other will do like me....How stupid I was ,right?anyway after these happened I just couldn't write again.I stop do it for few years until I came here.I know not same but still is something for me. I wish your dream come true and be the writer you want to be...

I only like writing when I am in the mood. Writing takes inspiration and you need to get inspired enough to start writing. But once you get started, you usually lament when you have to stop (e.g. it's already 6am and you need to sleep).

Hello,maribea,of course i like writing or i will not be here replying discussions.I may not be creative enough to write a poem or stories,but i like to write something within my interests, like in mylot ,I would like to write somthing about life or relationship. I can express myself and at the same time sharing it with other members which i will feel satisfied with it.

I like writing but writing doesn't like me.. LOL Writing had never been my forte and I always find it difficult to create a composition with well-arranged thoughts. This fact was reflected with my performance in my journalism class. However, I really try very hard to be able to do good in writing because I believe this is gonna be helpful for me in the future. I just hope being a mylotter would greatly help me in this goal. Happy posting!

i am not much a reader. i only read when i need to. but my passions goes to writing. i am not the best when it comes to writing down my thoughts. but just like you, it's the best way for me to express my joy, sadness, love, excitement...everthing! it's one outlet in which i can be myself without someone editing it for me. happy myLotting maribea and hope you get to hold of your dreams...and become a writer one day!

you are already elevated to a writer maribea. i have found you to be consistently worthy with commendable, thought provoking posts. no wonder you are at 10. as for me, i just love reading, reading anything and everything on earth. previously, i used to be a voracious reader and used to sneak in story books inside my text books. now, with life getting complex, i hardly get any time but whenever i do, i just make sure to grab one read. it's indeed "therapy", as you have aptly mentioned. however, i donot have a flair for writing, even though i just love it aswell. i try often but the pen supports me once in a while. i guess,it's God's gift altogether, which , i am sure you have in plenty. go ahead, pursue your dreams. i will wait eagerly for the publication. good luck.

Its been a long time that I have not taken to writing. As it is, I am not very keen on writing some thing very innovative. I used to write only for official/academic purpose. But since the time I have been doing job, I have completely been out of touch of writing even for official purpose since typing has taken over the activity.

Wow Maribea, compliments, me too I write for the same reasons you do. Once I wrote more, I had more time and I could do it, now I'm devoting time to my favourite hobby that is drawing and painting. But I love writing and reading, so I hope to start again as soon as possible. The birth of my son made me become very anxious, and so I started the psychotherapy with my little son, writing was very important to me, I wrote really a lot those days and this helped me very much. I'd like reading what you wrote, if you have a blog with your works tell me.

I like writing sometimes too. For me, it depends on my mood though. I sometimes like to write as an outlet when I'm really upset about something because it helps me to collect my thoughts and put them all down in one place. I also sometimes like to write poems when I'm feeling either really angry or really happy about something. After I finish a poem, it sort of makes me feel like I've accomplished something, and it makes me feel better. :)

I was born with a pencil for drawing, but I love to write too. I write stories and screenplays for my future films, since cinema is the way of expression for me. I am trying to become a cinema director, and this is a harder dream, but I'll do my best to get it. Perhaps you will enjoy to join the "help building the mylot book" under "things I want to do with my life" and see the discussions there. :)

I truly love to write, Writing may be a fun way to escape reality or simply to have fun, but that is only if you write fantasy stories etc... I think reading is also something that may be fun, i love to read, i read fantasies and other many things, but fantasies are things i really love simplyb ecause they are really fun to read and beautiful if you have an imagination.

I like to read more than I like to write. For some reason I am never able to write an ending to my stories.

i find you have to be in the mood to write, and i get in those moods a fair bit. i enjoy writing, it includes poems and short stories. latel i have been to busy to do any. i have a folder with poems in it that i have written up.

Actually I dislike writing because I think it is very tired expecially while write the long sentences such as do the assignment. I hate the assignment that need me to write long sentenses. But, if typing I think I can go on because I like typing and playing computer. So, I can type long story or sentenses in the computer then I only print out it. I think this way is more easy than writing but if drawing I think it better to do with free hand to get the original art. I ever get the experience to write the word more than 1000 words because I did'nt do my homework. So, my teacher punnish me to write the 'Im Lazy' for more than 1000 words. That's why I hate writing.

Hmmmm a scholar!! Nice to learn that you are good in writing seems to be a literary too! Do you believe that you have something hidden and whilst writing you can portrait all the incoming ideas in forms of words for sharing others! You can rather term it as "therapy" that would never makes you alone. Books are the best friend, a wise man's saying. You are helping the community for binding into relationship of friendship ... A nice contribution to society. I like writing too but I feel that I am good in reading hihihi I tell stories to the children and one of my friend asked me to write rather in order to loud your thoughts to more. In short I like the writing if it is for the betterment of society.

ya i like writing as i love to do that i always wanna to do that i write from the child hood as i do all type of writing as i write so fast but i cant write bad i dont write the poem and any thing else i wanna to write the ans of question as i do in the mylot ... it is boring to write the poem and gazal and all other thing as i have not the capability to do that as i am a student i dont wanna to do that my friend wanna to do that he always write poem and any thing that he think in his mind..................

I love writing. Im also an amatuer poet. I do like writing a lot. But i write only things i like. Things which i feel writing about. I have a habbit of diary writing. Writing should be a hobby of everyone as it allows ourselfs to express our innerselfs. Its a way of expressing. So if u are angry or sad or happy write your feelings down and you will feel pretty comfortable. And moreover to it there are many opportunities for writers on internet and im trying those to some extent. Lets see what happens...
