I dont know what it is about Disney but I so love that place. We love it so much that we got a timeshare last year at Saratoga Springs. This year we are taking both of the grandma's. There is always just so much to do there. My kids are 8 and 10/ They love it. I have to force myself to not think about it because it keeps me up at night. LOL So do you have any hot Disney tips? Where are you going for the summer? I have a hot tip if your not a big eater get the kids meal. Or get the double cheese burger and ask to buy an extra bun and make two singles out of the double.

Have a great time in Disney. I used to live hours from Disney and hardly ever went. There is always so much to do, you can never do it all in one day. This year we are going to Cuba for our vacation, maybe next year we'll take the boys to Disney. My eldest went once, but he was too young to remember and my youngest has only been whilst in my tummy !! LOL

We've been DVC - Disney Vacation Club - members since 2002. We love it! The benefits are getting a large room with a kitchen (if you chose) so you can save money on food. We usually eat breakfast in our room. We also eat dinner a few times and lunch if we come back to the room for a break during that time.
If you look at the cost of renting the type of rooms that DVC offers you'll see why owning is worth it. We get some discounts while at Disney and we can use our timeshare to trade out easier because Disney is an easy place to trade.

Yes it is well worth it. There is no way we could afford to go otherwise as often as we do. If you are going to do it please email me because there is something called friends and famuly discount. Depending on how many points you buy you can save a bit of money! It saved us 2500 and that's really something. I think they are still selling Saratoga Springs right now and we love it there. Your just a boatride from Daowntown Disney. The rooms are awesome. Another thing I really like is that you can wash your clothes for free just bring your soap. It sounds like a strange thing but you really do not have to pack as much clothes. And I love that part! The pools are great there. We love it and we do not regret it at all! We jouned in 2005 after crying when we left the Disny Cruise. You can also use your points to go on Cruises. We are going in Jan of 2008 AGAIN! Sorry I just love Disney!

We are DVC members and Disney fanatics! We go at least 5 times during the year including two one week vacations. Saratoga Springs is a beautiful resort. Congrats on owning there. I'm the same way when I know a trip is coming up. I get so excited it's all I can think about.
Here's my tip - you don't need to order a meal at the counter restaurants. You can only order a hamburger for example and tell them you don't want the fries.
Another tip - since you're staying on site, take advantage of the early or late extra hours for the parks. You can get to a lot of attractions since the attendance is low.
Have fun! We're going in June and I can't wait!

You know that late hour thing at the parks. People tend to pile into those so we try to avoid them the other parks are not as full. What is your home resort? My sister is at the Lodge oh I cant think of the name now. Boy you must have way more points than us. Have you gone on a cruise yet? If not you need to do that! It is awesome!

Our home resort is Vero Beach. We've been there a few times and really enjoyed it. It's nice to relax there after a long time at Disney. We've been on the cruise but it was before we were DVC members.
We get to go a lot because we don't go on weekends and live so close by. We move to another resort on the weekends like Shades of Green.
We're thinking of buying at Animal Kingdom Lodge if we win the lottery LOL!
