Take the kids and leave him. You can't help him - he has to help himself. It's not fair on your children to expose them to his drinking. I know what I'm talking about here because my father was a drunk. The shock of you leaving him may well be enough to get him to take action and deal with his problem but the longer you stay the more you and your children will be dragged down with him.

first off you should talk to your husband about it but chances are you already have. i think it is a good suggest you get some help because if you are at the point you no longer want to or dont want to deal with it. the children have suffered enough and dont need to be around the situation any more than they have too. just my opionin

I'd leave his sorry butt unless well... he has a good job and actually takes care of the kids... then I'd just go talk to a docter about this addiction
