working in night shift jobs........good or bad...?

I m working in night shift job,because it gives more money than what i get in a day job.So for money i prefer night shift jobs,but when it comes to health it is better to be in a day shift job.But in my view the young people can go for a night shift job because by age goes they cant do the night jobs because of health problems,so now they can earn some more money by going for a night job.So what do u think??????

My sentiments also. I was asked by my employer which shift do I prefer, after hearing that there'll be a 15% night differential on top of the basic salary, I immediately chose to work at night. That's when I was just newly hired. Later when I became fully aware of the repercussions of my decision, health etc., I made a deal with them that I'll be working 3 weeks on graveyard shift and a week on morning shift. I'm also taking vitamins for supplements. =)
