search for the new pussycat doll

i'm surprised i haven't seen any discussions about this already....and i'm sure that as soon as i hit the submit button, i'll find 20 other similar topics ..... i still don't trust the mylot search when trying to see if your topic has already been posted by other users. but here goes... so have any of you been following this series (the search for a new doll), and if so what did you think of the finale? up until yesterday's episode, i was sure the winner would be melissa - she had the whole pcd package. though i was rooting for chelsea. then it dawned on me that they were going to pick that annoying 'drag queen', asia because they prefered to have a good performer rather than a good singer. come to think of it, who in the pussycat dolls is a good singer except for nicole, the leader?? why would they actually want someone who can sing well, if that might outshine the other girls? stupid, really. another annoyance was the horrible editing and studio audience they had on the finale. the girls were supposed to be giving ONE last performance each, but if you watched carefully, you could tell that they had performed several times and the editors pieced them together, so sometimes the singing didn't even match their mouth! and that stupid "studio audience"? i think they asked 5 strangers off the street to come watch this crappy reality show, and they packed everyone in close, dimmed the lights and tried to make it look like a roomfull of pcd fans. very lame. anyways, asia will fit in nicely with the other no-talents in the group. i'm assuming nicole is going solo and leaving the other girls to try and convince us they can sing. a nice fantasy would be if ms. antin created a new group with chelsea and asia ;)
