does anybody have the black penny? does anybody collect stamps and coins?

Hi gasmas and everybody , I have been collecting now for over 22 years but still have the craze as ever, yes, I do have a Penny Black, USED one plus oevr 80000 all world stamps, FDCs, just started collecting Used Postcards with stamps on them. Have exchange partners all over the world, still looking for more. Anyone interested?????

I'm a coin collector but tried to collect stamps and really don't know much about stamp collecting; however, if my memory is correct, the black penny would be really rare and valuable. As for coins, I'm all over the place but concentrate on US coins, but really enjoy my Roman period since it requires a lot of research. As for foreign coins, I collect what interests me or coins from countries I visited.

My daughters are getting me into collecting banknotes. They love going to coin shows and pick up the more interesting world wide notes. I mention this, because my oldest recognized Ghandi on one of the notes....Good educational stuff for them. My older boy thinks that collecting stamps means you paste them on the wall...lol cheers!

LOL....i like ur lil boys thinkin........yup n collecting banknotes does enrich ones thinking. You should collect notes from Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece.so u could learn the language ( written).its fun, ive done that.tell'em to try it, they'll love it, trust me. cheers n th for ur response mate !!!

yup mate..black penny is the first stamp eve issued..vey rare n valuable. i too collect coins as well as banknote........ cheers mate

I collect a lot of stamps. Well over 10,000 in my collection, and that was when I was 13. I'm not that heavy collector anymore, and my friend works at the post shop so she gives me some.
