For me, it will always have to be the man who will say those words. If the woman says it before a man, I will say that she is a very forward woman. It takes extreme courage to be able to do that. Or it could be that she is already desperate. PUt her aside unless you really like her that much.

A while back it was unheard of a girl to say I love you first but times have changed and it doesn't matter who says it first. What ever the couple is comfortable with is the way it is now. I never have thought that a girl saying she loves her honey is wrong. She simply is letting him know how she feels. There is never anything wrong with that. How else will he know how she feels.

I know that some women comes forward and says such to a man. It is true that it all depends upon how the man shall react to it.

I'll be very pleased if she told me that, but I want me to say it first, anyway, when women show love, love appears on her face, she hasn't to say it, I prefer she wait until he told her. She can say "I love you" without words, sometime look could be enough to be understood.

Wow...great thought provoking question! I've never really thought about this. When I fall in love, I'm dying to tell the person, but I wait and wait because I want him to say it first. But if someone tells me he loves me after the 3rd date, then I know it's his you know what talking and not him! I think that when 2 people really love each other, you just know, even before someone gets the nerve to say it. So I don't think it really matters who says it first, as long as it is heartfelt.
But how awkward is it when someone tells you they love you and you don't return the feeling!!
