Do you sell on E-bay?

I am new to ebay and just started few days ago. I agree the fees are high but it's the best place where you can put your product in front of so many people from all around the world. You can try to lower the fees by hosting your images for example. You say you are a regular seller there so I'm sure you already know about that. I was wondering the same: if opening a store is best. My impression is that you can have lower fees with a store but your items don't get as much exposure as when you put them on auction. Also I think a store is okay only when you always have merchandise to sell regularly. I don't know if you can pay the monthly store fee only for the month when you are actually selling stuff. And if for example for some months you have nothing there, do you still pay those monthly fees? It's really hard to decide which is better and I hope that you will get more answers from people who are experienced. I am interested in this discussion and I will come back to read the answers.
