Breading foods

What is the best way to make bread crumbs stick to foods? What are the best breading recipes? I always have a hard time making mine stick!!!!

I sometimes make "oven fried" chicken or pork chops, but I have to warn you, they aren't low fat by any means. I dip them in melted butter or margarine and then in bread crumbs, baking until cooked through and the breading is crispy. You can dip meat or other foods in water, milk, or beaten egg instead of butter or margarine, and those will work too.
