Adding tags

Hi all I'm new here still, and just a little curious about the tags. When you respond to a discussion do you always add a tag to your response? Do you take a look at the tags that are already there before posting so you don't duplicate? Thanks!

I always put tags whenever I am making a response. I think it helps me and other users. The only problem is that I don't always look at the tags that are already there before I make new ones. If there are duplicates, then oh well! Make tags, they are important!

Under some discussions there are often other discussions about the same subject or nearly the same. I think that is what the tags are for, people find what they are interested in much easier.

I always post a tag on my discussion and I do think that it helps our earnings. I never look to see if I am duplicating a tag as I am sure that most tags usually do duplicate as you are discussing the same things.

I don't always add a tag to the discussions I respond to. I'm not quite sure what they're for.
