Ok guys sorry for sounding like a broken record but I have now been rescheduled for my back surgery! It is now scheduled for a different hospital with a different surgeon and is going to be on Monday 30th April! I am not getting over excited this time - could not take getting cancelled again but at least this time I am having the op the day I get admitted - even if I do have to be there for 6.30 am! Don't think my kids could take the strain if my op was cancelled again - the little one finds the thought of me going in to hospital hard enough and is struggling to cope with the ups and downs of it all! Hope you don't mind me announcing this yet again - hopefully the last time - but I will say Goodbye before I go to hospital! I want to thank you all for your friendshio, support, encouragement, good wishes and prayers - you really have no idea how much they have meant to me! xx

Oh mummymo, I am so very sorry that you and your family are going to have to undergo this whole thing all over again. I wish I could hug you in person but these hugs will have to do. (((((hugs))))) I just can't imagine getting all ready for the big day and then having it all cancelled on you. Your poor kids must have been glad to have you back home and yet now they have to get all ready for another operation. It's just not fair.
Well, the only thing I can say is that when something like this happens, it was meant to be. Maybe this surgeon is even better or the hospital is nicer. At least by being there at 6:30 in the morning, you won't have time to get hungry or thirsty...so that's a good thing.
And don't you dare be silly! Why would anyone mind you announcing your upcoming operation again? We are all waiting for you to get better and be back on your feet again so don't you dare worry about anything like that...silly girl.
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know when the operation is all over...as soon as you are able. Meanwhile rest and try to think of it as a mini-vacation. (Hope they give you some good pain killers.)

Can't wait to get back to get to know you even better - but be ready for even more gobbledegook than normal as they mentioned I may be on morphine for a while!!!! The hugs are wonderful - hugs always make me feel better! Don't know if the surgeon is better - there are only a few back specialists in my area but you are right - the hospital is much nicer , according to people in the know it is more like a hotel and staffing levels and standard of care is much better! Will let you all know as soon as possible when I get home! Prayers are much appreciated - and they are coming from friends all over the world so all I can say is 'from your lips to Gods ear'! Thanks again you really are a lovely person and I am honoured to have you as a friend!xxx

I was a teacher for 29 years so I'm used to goobledeegook. Just relax, take it easy and allow yourself to be spoiled until you just can't stand it anymore. I know that I'll be praying for your swift recovery.
Until your surgery, keep in touch, keep busy and try not to think about it too much (yeah right).

Oh good... not long to wait now then, Mummymo. I hope all goes really well for you and that you emerge from hospital a new woman!!!
When your youngest sees you come home, all fear of hospitalisation will disappear in the gladness. You just go in there and worry about yourself... the kids will be fine.
Brightest Blessings in love and in light.

Oh thank goodness for that, that things have started moving for you Mummymo, I do hope that everything runs smoothly this time around and that you can have your operation and that everything works out smoothly for you. No I do not mind you telling us again and remember you are always in my prays and I just pray that you can get this over and done with and that your children can be reassured that you are ok. I am sure that I understand how you feel towards your friend and I love you and will miss you but I want you to be out of pain and living comfortable.

You don´t sound like a broken record, dear. If there´s anything broken than it´s the health system if you don´t mind me saying so.
It´s good to hear that this time you´re going to have the operation the day that you´re getting admitted, I was really outraged when I read about it being cancelled last time but didn´t want to go into it, because it might have upset you even more.
This time everything´s going to be alright, you´ll see. I wish you all the best, dear friend. See you when you back here when you´ve recovered which is hopefully going to be soon.
Will be thinking about you.
(((hugs)))

Thank you so much dearest dana - that means so much to me! I am going into private hospital this time and it is meant to be more like a hotel with much higher staffing levels so standard of care is therefore better! Much less likely to get cancelled there as well as they don't really have emergency cases admitted! I will be back on as soon as I get home - which will hopefully be about 3 or 4 days after surgery all going well! - that is why I got a laptop so that it is easier to speak to you all whilst in bed!

Hi mummymo. I am pretty sure kids are more resilient than we think. They seem to take anything in stride. Sometimes I'm amazed at their understanding of things. With a mom like you I'm sure they will be alright. I pray all goes well and you recover quickly. God bless.

Good luck sweetie, I really hope all goes well for you and that you are up and about again really quickly. It is awful when you are all built up and ready for something, then the rug get pulled out from under your feet, I guess we have all been there at some time. This time, fingers crossed, all will go ahead smoothly.
All the best :-)

Bless you and all that you have been through with this. You are a true mommy, worrying mostly about what it is doing to your kids above yourself.
Yes, do say goodbye before you go to the hospital. You will have many thoughts and prayers with you.
Take care, hun.
