I just remember what my father taught me when I was a kid of how to identify a month (in Gregorian calendar) if its less than or equal to 30 days and those that are 31 days. Just want to share this with you: (1) Close your hand to make it a fist; (2) look at the top obvious bones (whether left or right hand) of your fingers; (3) the first bone will represent January, the in-between would represent February and so on.. (4) you will notice when counting, that all with emerging finger bones are those months with 31 days, while those in-betweens will be less than or equal to 30 days. Try it even if you want to start with either the left or right of your hands (whether forward or backward counting). (Pls. see image).
