I was reading About.com today and it stated, word for word, if you drink more then 21 alcoholic beverages in a week that you are an alcoholic. Well, I tend to drink about 5-8 drinks a night every other night or so. I calculated it up and it equals more than 21 drinks a week. See, my entire family are alcoholics, and I really tried to stay away from it(I seen my real father very abusive with it), I always swore I would never get caught up in that web of problems, but yet I have. I need a way out. I feel I am just killing myself. See, I am bipolar, and biplolar tend to have suicidal temtation, and unfortunetelly I gave in to them temptations. I attempted suicide once with an overdose of Tylenol PM and had to be admitted to the intensive care unit for 3 days. Most of people do not know that an overdose of tylenol can cause EXTRIME liver damage. And as many who drink know, alcohol is not good for your liver at all. So while my liver is trying to rejuvinate itself from the tylenol overdose, I am still drinking, thowing more problems on my liver. Is there an easy way to quit drinking alcohol? I need a straight up answer, not one such as," I do not drink so I couldn't tell you anything but to stop." I need a real answer. Does anyone have surefire way to quit my abusive habit?

I don't think we can stop drinking by decrease it little by little, there is still a temptation because you'll still with those liquors. I think that you should make an extreme decision to just quit drinks, of course this will need such a really big effort, and hard try. but I think it will do, rather than you decrease it slowly.
