Being an Avon rep. I find myself, wishing for better ways to advertise my online website. I have tired doing different promotions to get things going and drive business to my site. Currently, I have a promotion going where I do a drawing every campaign, for a full size Avon product. By registering to be on my mailing list the person's e-mail address gets entered into a drawing. I thought that maybe I would get traffic from it and have advertise it everywhere. But so far I have had three people register. I have had one new customer. I have been advertising this for months, with these results. Does anyone have any tips on getting people to my website. I know it is a numbers game, when it comes to e-commerce, to get order you have to get traffic. I have done everything possible from free classifieds, to purchasing traffic hits. Nothing I seem to do, seems to work. I think my one new online customer is a mylotter. I am not 100% sure on that but I mention my drawing once before on mylot, and shortly after is when I had 3 sign ups, for my e-brochure. She won one of the bundle packages. As has everyone so far who has entered. One of these people signed up, she has won a prize, but had blocked my email before she signed up. She didn't register with an address, so I don't know how to get her, her prize. Okay you people that is sucessful getting traffic and paying customers to your website. Share your secret please. I need to get more orders online, my customers in town are so far apart, I am spending alot of my profit, in gas. If you don't want to share your secrets here, please message me them. Thanks
