Window shopping.... are you a hater or a lover?

My husband hates it when I window shop. He is an impulsive buyer that's why he doesn't like looking around for stuff. Whatever he sees right for him, he grabs it and shoves it in the cashier's face without second thoughts. I am his opposite, I like to look around first before I purchase something....even if it takes me half a day to see the perfect find :) Are you more like me or my husband?

I am a great fan of window shopping, and my husband is a hater as well. I usually say that it cost too much to lt him do the shopping.
I actually went shopping for a pan today, a very specific kind of pan that we use to cook Carribean dishes in. I have been looking forever, but I kept telling my husband to let me buy it. If it was up to him, he would either go buy a pan at full price or he would go to one of the warehouses to buy a low quality pan.
Well, today he actually saw my window shopping pay off. I paid $19.95 for a pan that usually costs $90 dollar at Macy's. I love when the department stores have 60 - 75%sales.

i love window shopping. i like to look around first before buying anything since i want to get a good deal. but if there is a particular item that i really want, i don't bother looking around. i just go ahead and make the purchase.
my husband on the other hand is similar to your husband. he doesn't hate window shopping but he doesn't like it either. but he's not an impulsive buyer.
but i think i'm starting to rub off on him. now, he's slowly liking the idea of window shopping/browsing around before making a final purchase.

Like you, I love window shopping too.
It's a joy to be able to touch the different textiles, feel the differences, try them all out and see if they look nice on me.
It's the same for make up. It's nice to be able to try out the different colours before actually buying.

I usually window shop ALL THE TIME, since I am a poor college student. But every now and then, I go insane and just buy someone on a total impulse. Needless to say, I end up returning a lot of stuff! I used to be a real impulse buyer, but over the past few years, I have gotten more careful about my money. Even though I'm still a serious shopaholic at heart!

i like to window shop because most of the time i dont have the money to purchase the things that i see at the mall. i think that i benefit from window shopping because i can compare prices from other shops and i end up purchasing the cheapest priced good.

to be honest I'm a bit like both of you.. If I have the money I'm just grabbing things faster then I can even see what I'm picking up but yet I always love to shop around to get the best buy.. I dont like to go shopping very often I always see sooooo many things I want and just waste my money..

I think I'm like you. I rarely buy on impulse, and I like to look at a hundred things before I decide on one. But then I do try to strike a balance, I don't spend HALF a day on shopping, although I always do take more time than I'd like to, haha.
A good salesman always identifies what kind of a shopper I am, and dumps all kinds of good stuff in front of me. After that, I just go crazy, wondering if I should just ignore all that good stuff, or way overshoot my budget!!
