Watching the brand names of all the pet food recalls, I was wondering, what foods can the animals eat? The list of what to eat is probably shorter. I feed my dogs a raw meat diet along with healthy snacks. I usually buy the already prepared raw meat diet from Prairie or Bravo (they have veggies and fruits and the good oil and nutrients mixed in) but also supplement that with raw meat from the store and raw bones with the eat still on it. Dogs are by nature, scavengers, and the raw diet is really best for them. All that corn and wheat they put in dog food is the cause of a lot of allergies. They also love brocolli, brussel sprouts and yogurt but usually only if they see me eating it.
